113 Bedford Street
Norfast was hired to design the exterior restoration and window replacement for 113 Bedford Street, a single-family home in the Greenwich Village Historic District. Design of the historic facade repair included brownstone patching, brick repair, and stucco repair. All of the front façade windows were replaced with double-glazed wood windows and the rear greenhouse glazing was replaced.
The tenants of 77 Horatio, which lies within the Greenwich Village Historic District, are long-standing clients of Norfast. Design work included copper gutter repairs, brick repair and replacement, window replacement, and balcony repairs. Norfast is also the owner consultant for adjacent construction and review of tenant renovation plans.

42 East 12th Street
The board at 42 East 12th Street hired Norfast for various restoration and construction projects throughout the past decade. Most recently we were hired to perform facade inspections and repairs. Recent work includes brick replacement and crack repair, stone dutchman, window repairs, cornice repair and replacement as well as repairs to the fire escape and stucco.

998 Fifth Avenue
McKim, Mead and White’s Renaissance Revival luxury apartment house was constructed in 1912 and lies within the Metropolitan Museum Historic District. The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building an individual landmark in 1974. The contractors Nicholson & Galloway, Inc. hired Norfast to provide engineering calculations for the new terra cotta cornice and anchoring system.
This project was awarded the 2013 Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award by the New York Landmarks Conservancy.

The Bazzini Building
Norfast designed the facade restoration of the Bazzini Building. Repairs included terra cotta repairs, brick stitching, stucco replacement, pointing and caulking. In 2008 Norfast was again hired to design roof replacement and stucco repairs for the 6th floor terrace.

Roosevelt Island Octagon
The Octagon opened on Roosevelt Island in 1841. The hospital closed in 1955 and the building subsequently fell into disrepair. The NYC LPC designated the Octagon Tower an individual landmark in 1976. In 2006, as part of a full scale adaptive reuse to turn the building into residences, Norfast designed the temporary shoring and stabilization of the octagon walls. Norfast also produced shop drawings for the building's new GFRP, cast stone, and waterproofing.

273 West 12th Street
Norfast was hired by Fink and Platt Architects to serve as consultants for the building's structural and mechanical repair work, providing foundation, structural and HVAC engineering. The building is located in the Greenwich Village Historic District.

323 Greenwich Street
323 Greenwich Street, which lies within the Tribeca West Historic District, needed a complete façade restoration. Norfast began with a master plan, to layout a design that was within the client's budget and true to the original architecture. The project included window replacement, replacement of the deteriorated brownstone with rock-faced cast stone, restoration of the sheet metal cornice, cleaning and painting.
